No, you don't have to get wet, yes you can volunteer to drive the powerboat if you get nervous. Chris is a very experienced, patient and softly-spoken instructor.

We have developed special 'no ducking from the boom' trimaran sailing canoes which even stay upright unlike many dinghies!
You will be supported by our accessible power boat.
We are accessible to those who need supportive seating and are not so nimble, or have any other additional needs.
One of our "Great for Grands" recommended grandparent and grandkids adventures.
Windermere is a lovely lake running right up to the majestic Lake District massif.
With some great places for lunch stops and bays to play in we love sailing on Windermere.
Fell Foot host our sailing base and that means we have access to their fantastic facilities.
Showers, lockers, toilets, cafe and a carpark (free to National Trust members).
They have wheel chair accessible changing and showers, T- loops in the public spaces, level access In the cafe and the park has well surfaced paving around the main areas.
The Taste of Sailing day is just that! A good go of sailing to find out if you like it.
We have a variety of boats to offer and will discuss this with you to find what best meets your needs and aspirations.
